Only a hour flight away from Las Vegas we visit frequently, sometimes once a month. I'll be sharing our trip reports, tips on making the most of your stay in Vegas, reviews of restaurants and shows we have seen, along with my thoughts related to our favorite place to get away from it all.

Mirage one bedroom tower suite via MyVegas!

I recently stayed two nights in a one bedroom tower suite at Mirage for free courtesy of playing a free game on Facebook, MyVegas. While the game still offers the one bedroom tower suite at Mirage for cashing in X amount of game loyalty points I was able to get this deal in January for ninety thousand points and since this was a comp I did not have to pay room taxes or resort fees.

For those of you who might be staying in this 1251 Square ft suite in the future either through MyVegas or via paying for the room I have taken a video of the complete suite at the link above.
My suite on the 32nd floor had a view of the strip and the Mirage Volcano. Most of my photos and view were ruined a bit by the advertising wrap on the windows that gave my photos lines as you can see below.
The one bedroom tower suites have their own elevator and you must insert your key card in the inside elevator slot to reach the floors that have the suites. This is a great security feature but if you are planning on using the suite for a party and some of your guests aren't on time this will require you or someone else with a key card for your floor to go down and bring them up each time.
When you enter your suite there is a wet bar to the side. In addition to the small refrigerator full of drinks there is a small empty refrigerator for your use.
The style of the suite in my opinion is "old Vegas" which I personally like.
